In 1986 G.R. Van Valen, Inc. was founded.
After numerous years working for other companies in the construction, mechanical and excavation
trades, the decision was made by Pam and George Van Valen to go into business.
Since 1986 we have been a site developement contractor involved in residential
and commercial site development. Although our company has grown in recent
years, we still retain the same goals as when we started. Our company is small
by most standards, usually six to seven field employees, but we're hard-working
and efficient at what we do. We are continuously striving to update and maintain
our line of equipment so that when we are on the job we are producing efficient,
quality work for our clients. We also pride ourselves on our ability to tackle
almost any job and bring it in on time, on budget and with a minimal amount
of change orders. We aren't the cheapest excavating contractor around, nor
the biggest, but we think if you compare the quality of equipment, the work
ethics of our employees and the stability of our company you will consider
us highly competitive. Our goals are and always have been to provide quality
workmanship at a competitive price.  In the past we have had substantial growth
due to customer satisfaction. Our feeling is that rather than spend additional
monies in advertising, we would rather put the extras in complete customer
satisfaction. We are constantly trying to improve and update our shop, storage
facilities, rolling stock and support equipment. These qualities along with
our dedicated and experienced staff have provided us with a loyal customer
base from which to operate. |
